At Sensational Sounds, we use a CD compilation subscription created specially for DJ’s to ensure the right mix of today’s hits with yesterdays best. We have over fifteen thousand songs in our music library spanning every era and music styles. From 1945 to the hits on the radio today. From waltzes of old to the latest urban music. We have all the music you will be looking for. All our music is fully licensed by the AVLA (Audio Video Licensing Association). Even though some of our DJ's run digital system, Sensational Sounds never uses any downloaded music. We are fully licensed to run the digital systems. Each DJ brings all of their music to every event. This ensures they have the music you and/or guests are asking for. We completely encourage requests and place request cards on the tables but will only play appropriate requests, at the appropriate time. For events such as schools and youth dances our entire library is radio edit to ensure that no one is offended. Our DJ’s do not use pre-recorded cd’s. We understand that every event is different and the music must follow the crowd’s interests. Arranging music to produce the best response from the crowd comes with our years of experience. Our policy is if the dance floor is empty, it’s time to change the song. During the in house consultation, the DJ performing at your event will carefully go through your itinerary.
